Patricia A. Foley, 69, of Lawrence, Massachusetts died in peace and with grace in the home of her son, James, on October 9th, 2008, in the company of her loved ones.
Pat was born on June 8th, 1939, in Lawrence, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Alice (Kudarouskas) and Daniel J. Foley of Lawrence, Massachusetts.
Patricia attended Saint Mary's High School, graduating Class of 1956, where she forged lifelong friendships with her classmates. Pat worked at Raytheon Corp for years before retiring in 2002 to enjoy the sunshine in her beloved Ogunquit. She was a member of the Saint Mary's Alumni and she was a sister Hibernian (LAOH) of Lawrence, Massachusetts. Pat will be remembered for her compassion, kindness, advice, humor and fiery personality.
She leaves her son James Girgenti and his partner Steven Pettitt; her brother Daniel M. Foley, her mother Alice and her nephews Sean Foley of Lawrence, MA and Christopher Foley of Deerfield, NH; as well as many friends, and colleagues.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 14th, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Mary's of the Assumption Church in Lawrence, MA.
In celebration of Pat's life, friends are welcome to join the family at the Claddagh Restaurant and Pub, 399 Canal Street, Lawrence, MA; immediately following the mass at Saint Mary's of the Assumption Church.
