Terrence E. Joyce 78, of 12 Brookside Ave. died Friday (April 11) at UMASS Memorial Medical Center-Belmont St. Campus, after an illness.

He leaves his wife of 53 years, N. Kathleen (Brennan) Joyce, two brothers, James Joyce of Danvers and Joseph Joyce of South Boston, a sister, Margaret Chase of Whitman and several nephews and nieces. He was born in South Boston, son of Coleman and Barbara (Williams) Joyce. He graduated from Commerce High School and attended Worcester State Teacher's College.

He was an Army Veteran of WWII serving in the Pacific Theatre.

He worked at the Navy Ship Parts Control Center in Mechanicsburg, PA for many years retiring several years ago.

He was a member of The Main South American Legion Post #341, the Knights of Columbus Alhambra Council #88 and Christ the King Church.

A Funeral will be held Monday (April 14) from Fay Brothers Funeral Home 9 Hammond St. (www.faybrothers.com) with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Christ the King Church 1052 Pleasant St. Entombment will be in Saint John’s Mausoleum. Calling Hours are Sunday (April 13)From 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
