CHARLTON-David B. Nordstrom, 59, beloved son of Ruth (Hultgren) Nordstrom and the late Hilding S. Nordstrom died on Sunday, October 5th in Charlton.
He leaves his sister, Carol, wife of William Morrissey of Charlton, a niece, Kristin Morrissey of Worcester, his step-daughter, Theresa Braley of Worcester, his grandchildren, Christopher, Matthew and Connor Braley of Newton and Patrick, Shannon and Madison Braley of Worcester. He also leaves two former wives, Barbara Koleshis and Nancy Riley who remained his friends to the end. His nephew, Matthew Morrissey and his dog, Brandy predeceased him.
He attended Oxford High School and received a Bachelor’s Degree with Summa Cum Laude honors from Worcester State College. He also received his Master’s Degree with Summa Cum Laude honors from Assumption College in Worcester. David worked as a chemist in Research & Development at Dacor Manufacturing Company in Worcester for many years, and also worked as a Counselor for many years in Worcester and Fitchburg areas before retiring with a disability.
He enjoyed reading, fishing, wood carving, wood working and spending time outdoors hiking.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 12 at 1:15 PM at North Side Cemetery in Charlton. A Celebration of David’s life will follow at the Millbury VFW Post #3329, 16 South S. Main St., Millbury. To place an online condolence please visit www.lindquistlundin.com.
