Lillian Lotz Franks, 89, of Summerville, widow of George E. Franks, Sr. died Wednesday morning, October 8, 2008 at Summerville Medical Center.
Graveside funeral service will be held Friday, October 10, 2008 at 11 o’clock at Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville.
Friends may visit at the graveside thirty minutes prior to service time.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice or The ARK, 206 Central Avenue, Summerville, SC 29483.
Mrs. Franks was born December 16, 1918 in Summerville, daughter of the late Martin Marion Lotz and Ermine Myer Lotz. She was a graduate of Summerville High School, class of 1935. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.

Daughter: Beverly Mizell of Crystal Beach, Texas
3 grandchildren
1 great grandchild
4 sisters: Ermine Croft, Jeanne Thrower and Winifred Salisbury all of Summerville and Grace Bessinger of Houston, Texas.
