Terrill, Joseph William “Joe”, 94, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at his home.
Born in Hodgenville, KY, he was the son of the late Luther Emmitt and Sarah Margaret Terrill.
He was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church in Larue County. He had retired from Yellowstone Distillery as a guard. During the WWII, he was a highway patrolman. He was a loving husband , father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Katheryn (Caudel) Terrill; children, Patty Gamble (Don) and Dennis Terrill (Becky); grandchildren, Brian (Elizabeth), Eric (Karen) and Keith Terrill and Ashley and Courtney Gamble; a brother Bill Terrill; and sisters, Lucy Heath, Geri Kennedy and Lillian Talley.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with entombment to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be 2-8 pm Thursday and after 10 am Friday.
