Obituary


Goffstown– Susan Kissell, 45, died October 5, 2008 at Laurel Center following a long illness.
She was born in Somerville, MA., on February 14, 1963 the daughter of John P. and Esther (Siriani) Kissell.
She received her Batchelor of Science degree from Emmanuel College in Boston, she also attended Boston College. She was a published clinician in the cancer field. She was featured in the Who’s Who of American high school students in 1981. She was also the Boston Globe Scholastic Art Award winner in 1979. Lastly she illustrated a children’s story in which her sister Nicole authored. She was employed as a clinical researcher at Concord Hospital.
Family members include one daughter Merissa Rainville, one son Evander Rainville, both of Goffstown, two brothers John A. Kissell, of Manchester, Jamie Douglas, of Massachusetts, two sisters, Elizabeth Malviera, of Salem, Nicole Johnson, of Portland ME., several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services: Calling hours will be on Thursday from 5 to 8 pm at J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home 110 Bridge St.
Funeral services will take place on Friday at 12 Noon in St. Matthews Episcopal Church in Goffstown .
Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
