Beatrice F. James, 71, of Manassas, VA and formerly of Baltimore, MD died September 28, 2008 at the Manassas Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Manassas. Born November 27TH, 1936 in West Virginia, she was the daughter of William and Elizabeth McGraw Cook. Mrs. James worked as an insurance claims examiner for several years prior to her retirement. She is survived by her son, Jason James and his wife Kate of Manassas, VA; two brothers, George Cook of Cool Ridge, WV; Jerry Cook of Lewisburg, WV; three sisters, Rilla Nachand of East New Market, MD, Charlotte Saddenwasser of Seqium, WA; Docia Gross of Tenino, WA and one granddaughter, Grace James of Manassas, VA.
Memorial Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, October 11 at 3 P.M. Inurnment will be on November 1 at Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Beckley, WV. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Capital Hospice Development Office, 6565 Arlington Blvd, Ste 500, Falls Church, VA 22042.
