FALL RIVER….William R. Jalbert, 56, died unexpectedly Friday, October 3, 2008 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the son of the late William C. and Doris R. (Laferriere) Jalbert and former husband of Mary Lou Borden of Swansea. He was born in Fall River and had lived in Westport all his life prior to moving to Somerset a year ago. Mr. Jalbert was the owner and operator of Norwest Automotive of Somerset along with his sons Billy and Bobby. He was a member of the Westport Lions Club and the Watuppa Boat Club of Westport. Mr. Jalbert will always be remembered as a devoted father.
Survivors include: 2 sons: Billy E. Jalbert and his wife Nikky and Bobby A. Jalbert and his companion Jessica; 1 sister: Elaine Wood of Dartmouth; 2 nephews: Joseph and Barry Wood.
Funeral services to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at the Potter Funeral Home.
Calling hours will be Tuesday 5-8 P.M.
Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
