Obituary

Moe Kane of Revere died on October 5, 2008 at the Salem Hospital. He was 92 years old. He was the beloved husband of Shirley (Lipman) Kane.

Moe was born in Chelsea and was educated in the Revere Schools and High School. He was a manager of amusement parks and was a member of the Jewish War Veterans in Revere. Moe served his country during World War Two and received many decorations and citations including a Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, Presidential Unit Citation, American Defense Service Medal, and the Asiatic Pacific Theater Campaign Ribbon with Two Stars.

Moe was the devoted father of Wendy Simon and Deborah Pivnick and her husband Joel. He was the dear brother of the late Lawrence, Samuel, and Louis Kane. Moe was the loving grandfather of Joshua, Melissa, Hilary, Ashley, & Matthew.

Graveside services at the New Tifereth Israel of Everett Cemetery, Fuller St., Everett on Monday, Oct. 6 at 11:00 AM. Memorial observance will be private. Contributions in Moe’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
