Dwayne Alvin Johnson, 43, Clarksville, died Saturday, October 4, 2008, at his residence. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Maranatha Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Clark officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with military honors. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service Thursday at the church. A committal service will be held 12 p.m. Thursday at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Johnson was born November 3, 1964 in Savannah, GA. He was an assistant project manager with Stanley Associates and was a veteran of the US Army. Survivors include his spouse, Patricia Johnson, and sons, Nicholas Dwayne Johnson and Cameron Patrick Johnson, all of Clarksville; his father, John Henry Johnson, Jr., Hilton Head, SC; his mother, Julia E. Johnson, Savannah, GA; brothers, John H. Johnson, III, Savannah,GA; and Kevin Christopher Johnson, Fredrick, MD; and a sister, Wanda Gail Hopkins, Savannah, GA.
