Obituary

Manchester-Lucien Z. Therrien, 93, died October 3, 2008 at St. Teresa's Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center after a brief illness.
He was born in Manchester on January 10, 1915 the son of Oscar and Anna (Pinard) Therrien and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
Prior to his retirement he had been the operator of the last manually operated elevator in the state at Amoskeag Bank.
He was predeceased by his wife Bertha (Prud’homme) Therrien on May 22, 1992.
He held membership in the Association Canado Americaine and the League of 1000 Men of the Precious Blood Monastery. He was very active in parish activities.
Members of his family include one son Andre L. Therrien of Goffstown, 2 daughters Mrs. Edward (Pauline) O’Reilly of Manchester and Mrs. Brian (Denise) Lunn of Marshfield, MA., 8 grandchildren, one greatgranddaughter and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services:Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 7 PM at the J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 am in Parish of the Transfiguration. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Teresa’s Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, Activities Fund, 519 Bridge St., Manchester, NH 03104
The family is very thankful and appreciative to the staff of St. Teresa's for the wonderful, respectful and professional care given to our father.
