Millbury- Dorothy E. (Olson) Nadeau, 81, passed away on Friday, Oct. 3, 2008 in Shrewsbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her family. She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Denise Nadeau-Kenny and her husband David Kenny of Millbury, Steven Nadeau and his wife Catherine of Webster, and Christann Spiegel and her husband Alan of Concord, MA; 9 grandchildren, Marc Nadeau and his wife Brenda, Brooke, Shane, and Cassandra Nadeau, Alicyn Neuhaus, Zachary, Avi, and Maia Azoulay, and Caleb Spiegel; 3 great-grandchildren Devon, Nicholas, and Jenna; her sister-in-law Shirley Olson of Worcester; and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Thomas Nadeau, a brother Steven Olson, and a sister and brother-in-law Phyllis and Robert Bellville.
Dorothy was born in Worcester, daughter of Gertrud (Ahlberg) and Carl Olson. She graduated from Commerce High School and worked as a home health aid for several years. She was a member of SAC Park, loved sewing, dancing, and visiting Cape Cod. Most of all, Dorothy loved spending time with her family.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 11:00 a.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. Calling hours will be held on Monday, Oct. 6th from 6-8 p.m. AND Tuesday, Oct. 7th from 10-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
