Anne Lucille Parent, 81, of Snipatuit Road Rochester died Friday, October 3, 2008 at. St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford.
She was born in Dartmouth, MA on May 5, 1927 the daughter of the late Theodore Frelinghuysen Appleby and Anna (Mankowski) Appleby.
Mrs. Parent graduated from Dartmouth High School and studied piano at the Boston Conservatory and the New England Conservatory in Boston.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and other crafts, word games, puzzles and the study of genealogy and history.
She is survived by two sons, Theodore L. Labelle and his wife Julie of Falmouth, MA and Jay R. Labelle and his wife MaryLou of Manomet, MA; one daughter, Laurie A. Labelle and her companion Robert Andersen of Mattapoisett, MA; one step-son, Theodore E. Dawson and his wife Patricia of Providence, RI; one sister, Nancy Fijalkowski and her husband Walter of Wareham, MA; ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th at 11:30 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home For Funerals, 50 County Rd. (Rt. 6) Mattapoisett. Her family will receive guests on Tuesday morning from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM prior to her service.
