Stanley H. Perrigo, 92, passed away at the McFadden Manor Nursing Home in Malden on October 2nd, 2008. He was born in Everett on September 8th, 1916 to his parents Howe and Elizabeth (Irons) Perrigo. Stanley has been a resident of Malden for many years. For 44 years he worked as a Maintenance Mechanic for the First National Stores Warehouse in Somerville, retiring in 1978. He was a member of the Teamsters local 829. Stanley has been a long time parishioner at Immaculate Conception Parish in Malden where he was a member of the 60 Club. He was also a former member of the Everett Lodge of Elks and the Irish American Club in Malden where he served as chairman of the charity commission and was honored as Man of the Year by his fellow members. He is survived by his children; David Perrigo and his wife Patricia of Malden, Jeanne Connell and her husband Robert of Wilmington and Douglas Perrigo and his wife Jean of Tewksbury; his brother Kenneth Perrigo of Newburyport; and by his grandchildren Michael, Laura, Adrianna, Robert, Jeffrey, Jennifer and Melissa.Stanley was predeceased by his wife Nora Perrigo. Relatives & friends are invited to attend his funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden at Medford line on Monday October 6th, 2008 at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church Chapel, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 9 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Sunday October 5th from 4-7 PM.
