SHREWSBURY- Patricia M. (Gould) Pine, 61, of 11 Everett Avenue, Shrewsbury died unexpectedly Tuesday, April 8, 2003 in UMASS Memorial Healthcare-Memorial Campus.
She leaves a son, Robert K. Pine, Jr. and his wife Kimberly A. Pine of Millbury; a daughter, Nanci E. Pine of Shrewsbury; a sister, Mary Jane Martocci and her husband, Joseph J. Martocci of Southboro; two granddaughters, Merideth L. and Allison P. Pine of Millbury; also survived by three nieces, Amy P. Tsiros and Jill P. Smith both of Shrewsbury and Nicole P. Correnti of Westboro; 8 grand nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Pine was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Albert and Mary (O'Brien) Gould and had lived in Shrewsbury for 49 years. Mrs. Pine graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in Worcester.
Mrs. Pine started her working career as a Medical Secretary in the Radiology Departments at Hahnemann and Memorial Hospitals before they merged as UMASS Memorial Healthcare for 22 years, she was still working at the time of her death. Mrs. Pine was also a very well known Pastry Chef in her community, she had worked for a local restaurant for many years.
Mrs. Pine had been a Avon Distrubutor for many years, she also had been very active in her catholic faith.
Mrs. Pine's funeral will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2003 from the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, (brittonfuneralhomes.com) 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury with a funeral Mass at 10 A.M. in Saint Mary's Church, 640 Main Street, Shrewsbury. Burial will be in Saint John's Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours will be on Wednesday, April 9, 2003 from 4-8 P.M. in the funeral home.
