Albert L. Newcomb, of Norwood, died on Sat Sept 27, 2008 at Caritas Norwood Hospital. He was 94.
Born and raised in Needham he had lived in Norwood for over 20 years. He had worked as a security guard for Honeywell in Needham retiring in 1979. He enjoyed travelling around the world and was a member of the Needham Retired Men’s Club.
Husband of the late Josephine (Vellali) and Louise (Chilson) Newcomb, he is survived by his brother William D. Newcomb of Needham and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Kenneth W. Newcomb.
A funeral service will be held on Thurs Oct 2 at 11 AM in the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave. NEEDHAM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours will be in the funeral home on Wed from 5-7 PM. Interment will follow at Needham Cemetery.
