YOUNG, Margaret E.
Margaret E. Young, 83, of Charleston, died Saturday morning, September 27, 2008 at Roper St. Francis Hospital of Charleston.
A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at 11 o’clock at the Ravenel United Methodist Church Cemetery, in Ravenel, SC. Burial will follow the service.
Friends may call at the James A. Dyal funeral home from 6 until 8 o’clock Tuesday evening, September 30, 2008.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in her name.
Mrs. Young was born March 6, 1925 in Columbia, SC, a daughter of the late Beauford T. and Lessie Barfield. She married her first husband, Mr. Bill V. Morgan in the mid-1940’s and later married Mr. James L. Young in the late 1960’s. Margaret was a homemaker, enjoyed being outdoors and especially loved her gardening. She also liked to read books, work on crossword and word-find puzzles and taught her grandkids how to cook.

2 grands: Rebekah Jean Morgan of Myrtle Beach, SC
Christina Morgan Hodge (Kipling) of Mt. Pleasant, SC
1 great grand: Jackson Kipling Hodge
1 brother: Charlie O. Barfield (Catherine) of Charleston, SC, and their children; the late Ron Barfield
Robin B. Lykins (Joseph) and their 3 children
Donald Barfield and his 1 child
She was predeceased by her husbands.
