JOSEPH T. TAGLIENTIJoseph T. Taglienti a lifelong Newton resident died Monday April 7, 2003 at the Stanley Tippett Hospice House in Needham.Born in Newton he graduated from Newton Vocational High School. He worked at the Boston Naval Shipyard during WW II. He had worked as a Real Estate Developer for several years.Wife of the late Caroline (DeMaio) Taglienti, he is survived by his daughter Carolyn P. and her husband John R. Redfern of No. Kingstown RI. His grandchildren Christine Kass of So. Kingston RI, Jonathan Redfern of Palo Alto CA, Sean Redfern of Providence RI, and Matthew Redfern of So. Kingston RI; his great grandchildren Nathaniel, Caitlyn, and Simon Redfern and Elizabeth and George Kass. His sister Dora Freda of Natick also survives him. He was the brother of the late Manfred Taglienti, Domenic Taglienti and Victor Taglienti.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thurs April 10 at 10:30 AM in Sacred Heart Church Newton Centre Interment will follow at Newton Cemetery.
