Obituary


Alice M. (Perry) Esposito, 78, of Brockton formerly of Hyde Park, died September 26th in the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital after a period of failing health. She was born and raised in South Boston, daughter of the late John and Mary (Thomas) Perry. Alice was a resident of Hyde Park most of her life until moving to Brockton 8 years ago. She worked for Stop & Shop for more than 30years as a food preparer and in her early years, she worked at the famous Blinstrub’s Restaurant in South Boston as a coat clerk. Alice was a commissary in Hyde Park and enjoyed going on trips to Foxwoods and Las Vegas.

Alice leaves her son, Edwin J. Esposito and his wife Cynthia of Whitman, his granddaughter, Michelle Clifford and her husband Matthew of Whitman, her brother Constant Perry of Bridgewater; also several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late, Albert, George, Casper, Joseph and john Perry, Anna Daley, Julia Delaney and Rose Vierbickas.

Her Services will be held Tuesday September 30th at 7:00PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman. burial will be at a later date in the New Calvary Cemetery, in Mattapan, MA Visiting hours will be held 2 hours prior to the service from 5:00-7:00 PM. Donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, 1115 West Chestnut St., Suite 301, Brockton, MA 02301.
