GLOUCESTER: Kenneth O. Torrey, 57, of Commercial Street, died Friday evening, September 26, 2008 in the Addison Gilbert Hospital following an extended illness.
Born in Gloucester on January 31, 1951, he was the son of the late Kenneth O. and Frances N. (Anderson) Torrey. He was a lifelong resident of Gloucester.
Kenneth was employed as a silk screen printer at the Acme Apparel for the past six years. He had also once worked at Cyrk in Gloucester for several years.
He is survived by a brother, Keith A. Torrey of Gloucester and a son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Tricia Torrey of Greenfield, MA.
His funeral services will be privately held at the convenience of the family. There are no visiting hours. Expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the VNACare Hospice, 5 Federal St., Danvers, MA 01923.
