Obituary

Elizabeth C. (Clark) Tsouprake, 75, of New Bedford died Saturday April 5, 2003 at St. Luke's Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, after a long illness.

She was the beloved wife of Atty. Charles S. Tsouprake, with whom she celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on February 20, 2003, and daughter of the late Paul T. and Mildred (Sayward) Clark.

She had an active and full life.

A graduate of Massachusetts College of Art, Mrs. Tsouprake was a gifted art teacher in the Greater New Bedford area who advocated for young people.

An avid golfer at the Country Club of New Bedford, she was a fierce competitor. She designed and illustrated artwork for the Women's Golf Association at CCNB.

Known for her open home and lavish parties, she brought together diverse people in a joyous environment.

Survivors include her husband; 3 daughters, Dodie T. McPhee of Acushnet, Elizabeth A. Tsouprake of Somerville and Marjory T. Bernard of Marlborough; 2 sons, Charles P. Tsouprake and Ned Tsouprake, both of New Bedford; a sister, Mildred S. Clark of Augusta, Maine; 4 grandchildren, Jarrett R. and Sayward E. McPhee, both of Acushnet, and Areth E. and Noah C. Tsouprake, both of North Dartmouth; and a large, loving extended family.

She was the sister of the late Paul T. Clark, Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, Thursday, April 10th at 3 PM.

Her family will receive guests from 1-3 PM prior to the Funeral Service.

Interment private.
