Alice May Fague, 94, of Anthony Road, Foster, died Thursday, September 25, 2008 at Hebert Nursing Home. She was the former wife of the late Chester L. Fague, Jr.
Born in Johnston, she was a daughter of the late James L. and Myra May (Ingham) Winsor. She lived most her life in Smithfield. She was a weaver in area textile mills before retiring and a former member of the Greenville Grange.
She is survived by her sons, James A. Fague of Coventry and Chester L. Fague of Foster, five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and three sisters Beatrice LeBrun of Kittery, Maine, Mabel Caudill of Palm Coast, FL and Myra Winsor of Smithfield. She was the sister of the late Dorothy Lemieux, Irving and James Winsor.
A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, October 4 at 10:00am in St. Michael’s Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Georgiaville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hebert’s Nursing Home Patient Activities Fund, 180 Log Road, Smithfield, RI 02917.
