Ronnie A. Eberhardt, 56, of Fitzgerald died Thursday, September 25, 2008, at Tift Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 4 P.M. Saturday, September 27, 2008, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with Rev. Jonathan McKinney officiating. Interment will follow in Blockhouse Cemetery, Telfair County. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Friday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Eberhardt was born April 11, 1952 in Opa-Locka, Florida to the late Henry A. and Eunice “Pat” Kinnett Eberhardt. He lived in the community most of his life. Mr. Eberhardt was a truck driver and a self-employed carpenter. He was a member of the former Northside Baptist Church, a former member of the Moose Lodge and he liked to fish and hunt.
He is survived by his Companion, Ann Dowling of Fitzgerald; grandchildren, Bubba and Nikki Dowling, Zak Willer, Bobby, Brittany, Justin and Kimberly Braxton; sisters, Eunice Britt of Fitzgerald and Brenda Thompson of Macon; Brothers, Danny E. Eberhardt of Centerville and Walter Allen Eberhardt of Warner Robins as well as several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Gwen Sullivan and Linda Reeves.
