Obituary

Worcester - Robert J. Trudeau, 82, formerly of 1045 Southbridge Street died Monday April 7 in St. Francis Home after an illness.

He leaves three nieces Donna M. Finnegan of St. Petersburg, FL, Theresa M. Bing of Hartland Four Corners, VT and Jeanne M. Foudriat of Bedford, NH; one nephew Paul R. Trudeau of Northboro. Mr. Trudeau was born in Worcester son of Adelard J. and Eva J. (Lupien) Trudeau.

Mr. Trudeau was an Army Veteran serving during World war II. He owned and operated Trudeau Trucking for 43 years before retiring in 1990.

He was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Church where he was a Eucharistic Minister, Collector and Server.

The funeral will be held on Thursday April 10 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond Street with a mass at 10 AM in Holy Name of Jesus Church 53 Illinois St.. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are on Wednesday April 9 from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Saint Francis Home 101 Plantation Street Worcester, MA 01604.
