Mary T. (Ratkavich) Flaherty, 80 of Norwood died September 22 in the Eagle Pond Rehabilitation and Living Center in Dennis. She was the wife of the late Francis Flaherty.
Born in Norwood, July 22, 1928, the daughter of the late Ignatz and Edvida (Davio) Ratkavich, Mrs. Flaherty was a lifelong Norwood resident.
A homemaker, she is survived by her daughter, Maureen Rukstalis of Norwood and hers sons, Dennis and Gerard Flaherty of Norwood and Mark Flaherty of Medway.
She was the sister of the late Joseph and John Ralkavich and Jean Tripp.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Leslie and Michael and great-granddaughter, Alexandra.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday, September 27 from the Ginley Funeral Home, 892 Main St. in Walpole at 8:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church in East Walpole at 9:00 a.m.
Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Norwood.
Visiting hours will be on Friday from 4-7 p.m.
