Michael F. Kenna, 40, of South Main St., Derry, NH, died Sunday, April 6, 2003 in Derry. He was born in Goffstown, NH on May 1, 1962 a son of the late Paul and Mary (Fredette) Kenna. He was a resident of Derry for the past eight years, formerly living in Manchester. He attended Alvirne High School in Hudson. Mr. Kenna had been employed as a carpenter for Eclipse Construction. He enjoyed his Harley Davidson motorcycle, was an avid woodworker, and was known to have a “green thumb”.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Wendy Grygiel of Derry, four sisters, Shirley McKechnie of Derry, Dorothy Durivage of Manchester, Kathy McLaughlin of Weare, Heidi Gagnon of Manchester, one brother, John Kenna of N. Conway, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry on Tuesday, April 8th from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 with a funeral service beginning at 8:00pm. Cremation will follow. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society (earmarked for Breast Cancer), Gail Singer Memorial Bldg., 360 State Rt. 101, Suite 501, Bedford, NH 03110-5032.
