Racel “R.L.” Kelly, age 77, passed away September 19, 2008 at the VA Hospital in Memphis, TN. He was born May 7, 1931 in Elbridge, TN to Ernest and Ardell McKinney Kelly. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a disabled veteran. He was a Methodist and was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and the Disabled Veterans of America..
The funeral service will be held in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2008 with Bro. Jerry Smith officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley, MS.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne Kelly of Water Valley, MS; a daughter, Lee Ann Boluda (Jose’) of Bowie, MD; one son, Steven Kelly (Sue) of Virginia; and 3 grandchildren.
