Obituary

DRACUT, MA – Claire P. (Bourassa) Turner, 65, of Dracut, died Saturday September 13, 2008 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. She was the beloved wife of Gerald W. Turner.

Born in Lowell, she was the daughter of the late Gerard and Jeannette (Fortin) Bourassa. She was educated in Lowell schools.

Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Turner worked for VICOR, Corp. in Andover for several years. In her free time, she enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter Cynthia Kenyon and her husband Michael, Sr. of Dracut; two brothers Raymond Bourassa and his wife Carmen of Lowell and Richard Bourassa and his wife Jeanne of Dracut; a sister Priscilla Young of Florida; two grandchildren Michael Kenyon, Jr. and James Kenyon II; a sister-in-law Lorraine Matte and her husband Donald of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son Richard Turner.

Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT on Tuesday from 5 until 8 PM. Following cremation, burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorial contributions be made to Memorial and Honor Program, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
