Obituary

Carmela (DiCristo) Thomason, 49, of Medway, died Saturday, September 13, 2008 at Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of Charles “Al” Thomason since 1977.

Born in Far Rockaway, Long Island, New York on November 4, 1958, she was a daughter of Antonio DiCristo of Clearwater, FL and the late Angelina (Macera) DiCristo. Mrs. Thomason grew up in Long Island and had lived in Framingham for 2 years before moving to Medway where she has resided since 1981.

Mrs. Thomason was a graduate of the Connetquot High School in Bohemia, Long Island. She was a homemaker for most of her life and was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church.

Mrs. Thomason was dedicated to raising her three sons and loved to spend time with her husband and beloved granddaughter.

Besides her husband and father, she is survived by; three sons, Jack Thomason of Medway, Charles “Al” Thomason, Jr. of Brighton and William Thomason of Medway and her granddaughter, Gianna.

She is also survived by two brothers, Salvatore DiCristo of Center Moriches, Long Island and Antonio DiCristo of St. Clair Shores, MI, a sister, Joann Imhoff of Holiday, FL and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church, 151 Village St. in Medway on Wednesday, September 17 at 10 a.m.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 – 8 p.m. in the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, Floor 6, Brookline, MA 02445-9924.
