WORCESTER___Kazimierz Nowak, 74, of Worcester, died Thursday Sept. 11, 2008 in his home.
He leaves his wife, Janina (Olejarnik) Nowak, a daughter, Margaret Nowak, two sons, Peter Nowak and Mark Nowak, a granddaughter, Maria Nowak, a sister, Vera Kot, all of Worcester; two nieces and four nephews. He was born and raised in Poland, a son of Franciszek and Wiktoria (Janowska) Nowak and has lived here since 1969.
Mr. Nowak was a general worker many years for the Table Talk Co. in Worcester and later in Natick when they became Continental Baking Co. He retired several years ago.
He was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. He enjoyed playing the accordion and was a handyman.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday Sept. 16 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home are Monday Sept. 15 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
