
Eileen Parillo, a Needham resident for 48 years died on Tuesday April 1 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham after a brief illness. Helen Eileen Kenney was born on Sept. 14, 1927 to Peter Leo and Katherine Pike Kenney in Boston MA. She lived and worked in Boston until her marriage to Pasquale Parillo, of Newton MA in 1949. In 1955 Eileen and Pat purchased a home in Needham where they raised their three children. Family was always the most important part of Eileen’s life, but she had many interests. She was an avid reader, of history in particular, and took great pride in her Irish heritage. She enjoyed all sports but in 1981 she fell in love with golf and joined the Needham Golf Club. She was the Most Improved Golfer in 1981 and 1998; Marie Maloney Cup winner 1982, 1985, 1988, and 1992; 9 Hole Division Champion 1983 and 1988; four time Scotch champion with her husband Pat in 1987, 1988, 1989 and 1993. Eileen will be greatly missed by her friends and family, including her husband Pasquale and their children; Jeanne Dickerman and her husband Michael of Littleton NH, David Parillo and his wife Andrea and children Sedona and Wyatt Chinn of Vista CA; Julianne Bailey and her husband Bradford and their children Jonathan and Caroline of Monroe NH. She is also survived by her brother Leo Kenney and his wife Rita of West Yarmouth MA, and a sister Catherine Gildea of Carver MA.Funeral from the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Avenue Needham on Saturday April 5 at 11:00 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Joseph Church at 12 Noon. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting Hours on Friday from 4-8 P.M. Burial services at Glenwood Cemetery in Littleton NH will be on Monday.
