JoAnn Vieira, 60, died at her Taunton home on Tuesday, September 2nd unexpectedly.
Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ora (Lineberry) Vieira, Sr.
Educated in Taunton schools, she graduated from Taunton High School and later worked for the State of Massachusetts in the mental health field for over 20 years.
A collector of bulldog knickknacks, she enjoyed music and traveling. She especially enjoyed spending time in England.
She leaves her son, A. J. Vieira and his fiancé Tracy May, both of Taunton; 3 brothers, Billy and Stephen Vieira, and Andrew Vieira and his wife Anna May, all of Taunton; an aunt, Laura Lopes; and 5 nephews, Christopher, Derek, Adam, Stephen and Kyle.
She was also the sister of the late Lynn and Joseph Vieira Jr.
A private service will be held at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence at a later date. Calling Hours are respectfully omitted.
