Donald F. Kizzee, 77, Clarksville, died Wednesday, September 3, 2008, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 2 PM Friday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Dr. Roger Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 am until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born October 19, 1930 in Ironton, Ohio. He was a loving husband for 56 years. His wife, Barbara A, Kizzee survives. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Clarksville Rotary Club, and was past president of the Clarksville Homebuilders Association. He also worked with Habitat for Humanity and was a Boy Scout Leader. Mr. Kizzee was retired from TVA and was a US Navy Veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his father, Sherman Kizzee and a brother, Lowell Kizzee. In addition to his wife he is survived by his mother, Evelyn Kizzee; a son, Kevin Kizzee (Elizabeth); a daughter, Karen A. Petty (Steven); a sister, Elaine Nunnery; and three grandchildren.
