In Taunton, Sept. 2, 2008 Robert E. died at 86 after a brief illness while surrounded by four generations of his loving family. Robert is survived by his wife Mary A. (Quinlan) Eames of Taunton. Robert was born in Taunton to his late parents Walter & Hilda (Wynott) Eames. He was educated in Taunton schools and graduated from the MA. College of Pharmacy. Robert served his country during WWII in the U.S. Army. Robert was the recipient of the bronze star, three battle stars and the purple heart medal. He was employed at the former Hanson’s Drug Store in Taunton. Robert was a member of the Elk’s, American Legion and VFW , he enjoyed cooking and woodworking. He is survived by his children Linda Lawler of North Easton, Robert F. Eames of Taunton and Carole Eames Ferreira of Taunton. His Grandchildren Andrea Medina of CA., Amanda Nastasia of Easton, Kevin Lawler of Lynnfield, Mark Lawler of West Boylston, Peter Ferreira Jr. of Taunton and Rose Ferreira of Taunton and his great Grandchild Gabriella Nastasia of Easton. His siblings Alice Flemming of Raynham, Ethel Cote of Raynham, Jean Sherman of Taunton and the late Marjorie Taylor. Funeral home service will be held on Friday, Sept. 5th at 11am. in the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St, in Taunton. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting on Thurs from 5-7pm. Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton.
