Joseph P. Fiumara, of Tewksbury, formerly of Medford died Saturday at home in the company of his loving family. He was 57.
Raised in Medford, he was the son of the late Joseph and Margaret (Ruocco) Fiumara. After high school he attended Bryant and Stratton College. He lived in Colorado for several years and worked as a ski instructor. He worked in sales for many years until founding his own company, ASAP Courier Service, several years ago. Joe enjoyed golfing, loved gardening but was most devoted to his family and friends.
He was a loving husband to Gail (Carraher). He was a devoted father to Katherine of Tewksbury, Joseph of Washington, PFC Anthony and his wife Breea of Alaska. He was a beloved brother to Beverly Merritt and her husband Allen of Lynnfield, Olivia Galgano and her husband Michael of New Jersey, John and his wife Paula of Wakefield and also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, Thursday at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. Interment will be private.
