John D. Mullaney, 68, of Londonderry, NH died Monday March 31, 2003 at the Rockingham County Nursing Home, Brentwood, NH following a lengthy illness. He was born in Cambridge, MA on July 2, 1934, a son of the late Edward M. and Grace (Meagher) Mullaney Sr. He was a resident of Londonderry since 1966, formerly living in Somerville, MA. He was a US Air Force veteran. He was employed in plumbing hardware at Home Depot in Manchester. He was predeceased by one son, Andrew L. Mullaney in 1968.
He is survived by the mother of his children Irene L. Mullaney, Manchester, NH, three children, Daniel F. Mullaney, Raymond, Debra E. Blatsos, Suncook, NH, James P. Mullaney II, Londonderry, three grandchildren, Whitney Blatsos, Justin Blatsos, Erin Mullaney, two brothers, Paul Mullaney, James Mullaney I, both of Massachusetts, three sisters, June Lundberg, Mary Healy, Ethel Mitchell, all of Massachusetts, several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday April 3rd at 10:00am at St. Jude Parish, 435 Mammoth Road, Londonderry with cremation to follow. Friends may call at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry on Wednesday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm.
