Harold Wayne Jacobs, 71, Clarksville, died Friday, August 29, 2008, at Montgomery Care and Rehab Center. The funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Dr. Roger Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Saturday and from 12 PM until the hour of the service Sunday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born September 10, 1936 in Fredonia, TN son of the late Wesley Jacobs and Isabelle Crotzer Jacobs. He was a member of First Baptist Church for forty four years and was a member of Felts Dent's Sunday School Class. He was a mechanic and worked at Jimmy Gaisser Garage and was the owner of Harold Jacobs Gararge. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joyce Heflin Jacobs; a son, Dennis Jacobs (Cindy), and grandaughter, Holly Jacobs, Mt. Vernon, Indiana; a niece, Linda Jacobs Parker, Clarksville; one great niece and one great nephew; two great-great nieces and one great-great nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Lynwood Jacobs, and a grandaughter, Stephanie Jacobs. Pallbearers will be Vivian Heflin, Ted Heflin, Darrell Parker, Ross Milliken, Jeff Groves, Allen Groves, Billy Lee, Chip Lee, Johnny Bennett and Derek Parker.
