Steven L. Sanders, 55, of Windham, NH, died Thursday, August 28, 2008 in Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA. Mr. Sanders was born in Waterville, ME on April 14, 1953, a son of Donald P. Sanders and the late Bernice (White) Sanders. He was a resident of Windham for the past 30 years. Mr. Sanders grew up in Clinton, ME. He moved to New Hampshire following his graduation from the University of Maine. He worked in the software industry in MA and NH while getting married and raising a family. In 1995 he started his own company, KeyNet Inc., in Windham, which he was very devoted to. The most important things to him were his faith and his family.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Bonnie (Corder) Sanders of Windham, two sons, Trent Jonathan Sanders and David Lee Sanders, both of Windham, a grandson, Teagan Rylee Allen of Derry, NH, his father, Donald P. Sanders of Clinton, ME, two sisters, Pam Betts of Clinton, ME, Kelly Graves of Union, ME and also by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Following cremation, visiting hours were held Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at the Castleton, 92 Indian Rock Rd., Rt. 111 in Windham from 4:00 to 6:30pm with a memorial service held at 6:30pm. Private burial will be held in Cemetery on the Plain, Windham. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Teagan Allen Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 424, Milford, NH 03055-0424.
