Margaret (Mayer) Andrade, age 90 of Fall River, died on Aug. 28, 2008 at Autumn Glen in Dartmouth from pancreatic cancer. She had been a breast cancer survivor for over 20 yrs. She was the wife of the late Armand Andrade.
She was born March 3, 1918 in Hartford, CT., moving to Fall River in 1945. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Bernadette Mayer.
She had worked at Louis Hand in Fall River for over thirty years retiring in 1980. She had also been a parishioner of St. Joseph Church, Fall River.
She is survived by one daughter, Joan St. Onge and her husband Edward of Dartmouth, MA; two granddaughters Robin Caron of Dartmouth and Debra Loranger and her husband Kenneth of Dartmouth; three great grandchildren, Danielle Caron, Matthew Caron, and Alyssa Loranger all of Dartmouth. She was the sister of the late Joseph Mayer of Hartford, CT and the late Ernest Mayer of Largo, FL.
Her family wished to thank the staff at Autumn Glenn for the excellent care and love given to her during her residency there.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. on Saturday at 9:00 A.M. followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours Friday 6-8 P.M.
