Agnes M. (Auger) Perrin, age 88, died Monday, Aug. 25, 2008 at her home in Brooksville, Fl after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Roland H. Perrin who died in 1991.
Agnes was born in Chelmsford on June 5, 1920, the daughter of the late Isidore and Arcella (Levasseur) Auger. She was a longtime resident of Brooksville, FL and was formerly of Gilford, NH and Lowell where she was a communicant of St. Michael Church.
Prior to her retirement, Agnes was employed with Janas Skating Rink in Lowell for several years and also worked as a seamstress in her early years.
She was a member of Women's Auxiliary of the East End Club and also volunteered much of her time with R.A.R.A. in Lowell. Agnes enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening and bingo.
She is survived by a daughter, Theresa Midgley of Ayer; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Gerard and Evy Perrin of Brooksville, FL, Maurice and Margaret Perrin of Tewksbury, Paul Perrin of Tyngsboro and Henry and Diane Perrin of Lowell; a sister-in-law, Theresa Perrin of Lowell; a brother-in-law, Ernest Perrin and his wife Theresa of Tyngsboro; nine grandchildren, Ronny, Alyson, Stephen and David Perrin, William and James Midgley, Michael and Philip Perrin and Lisa Ard; 19 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Jeannette Perrin, mother-in-law of the late William Midgley and was also pre-deceased by several brothers and sisters.
Relatives and friends may call at the M. R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St. Lowell on Friday, Aug. 29, from 4 to 8pm. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at St. Michael Church, Lowell. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery.
