Richard Aubrey O'Neal, 51, of Tifton died Wednesday, August 27, 2008, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2008, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. T. Manuel Johnson will officiate with burial to follow in Brushy Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Irwin County. Friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 29, 2008, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. O'Neal was born on October 20, 1957 in Tifton and was the son of Willis O'Neal and Evelyn Scott O'Neal Sanderson, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, Charles Sanderson. He worked for Tifton Aluminum and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Mr. O'Neal is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Chad and Krystal O'Neal of Tifton, and Michael O'Neal of Colorado; two brothers, Larry O'Neal of Tifton and Gary O'Neal of Tifton; one sister, Darlene Griffin of Tifton; and one grandchild, Aubrey O'Neal of Colorado.
