Olive (Swift) King, 85 of Woonsocket, Rhode Island and formerly of Medway died August 22 in the Friendly Home in Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Arthur S. King who died in 1994.
Born in Cumberland, Rhode Island, September 4, 1922 the daughter of the late David and Mary (Reed) Swift, Mrs. King had lived in Medway for 50 years before returning to Cumberland where she lived until moving to Woonsocket 3 years ago.
Mrs. King was a graduate of Bryant College.
She had been an administrative assistant at the Foxboro Company for many years.
Mrs. King had enjoyed for many years spending time with her husband in Ashland, New Hampshire at the vacation home.
She was deeply involved with her Church in Medway.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 27 in Christ Episcopal Church, 14 School St., Medway at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Medway.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway.
