Alfredo W. Magliaro, died peacefully at the Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center, in Medford. The husband of Marie J. (Lessard) he was eighty-six years old.
Born and raised in Boston he was the son of the late Mary (Giannelli) and Pasquale Magliaro. Alfredo worked for many years for the Rufo Construction Company, retiring in 1974, after working on many of the major construction projects in greater Boston.
Surviving in addition to his wife Marie, are his son Richard and his wife Camile of Florida, and his daughter in law Carole Magliaro of Florida. Two brothers, Joseph of Boston and Alfonso of Medway, two sisters; Maria and Celia Magliaro both of Boston. He is predecesed by his son Pasquale “Pat” Magliaro and a brother Anthony Magliaro. He is also survived by six loving grandchildren and seven loving great grandchildren.
His funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford on Tuesday, April 1, at 8 a.m., followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church 71 Warner St. Medford/Somerville at 9. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting Hours Monday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
