Leonard H. Easterbrooks, a resident of Lincoln Village, North Dighton died at New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton on Thursday, Aug. 21st at the age of 69.
Born in Taunton, on June 17, 1939, he was the son of the late Richard and Charlotte (Atherton) Easterbrooks.
A graduate of Taunton Vocational High School, he was later employed as a heavy equipment operator for Devine’s Milk Laboratories, Cumberland Farms, Decas Brothers, and Gault Transportation.
He retired in 1998.
He is survived by his sister, Cynthia Stanley, of North Conway, NH, a brother, Allan Easterbrooks, of Winthrop, ME and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister Mary Ellen Easterbrooks, late of Wendell, MA.
A memorial service will be held at the Rehoboth Baptist Church, 132 Moulton St. (Rte. 118) Rehoboth on Saturday, Aug. 30th at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
