Marcy Jane O’Connell, 49 of Bellingham and formerly of Franklin died suddenly August 20 at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket. She was the wife of Daniel Campanella.
Born in Burlington, Vermont, April 27, 1959, the daughter of Thomas O’Connell and his wife, Betsy of San Antonio, Texas and Linda (Doughten) O’Connell of Montgomery Center, Vermont, Marcy had lived in Franklin for 25 years before moving to Bellingham 4 years ago.
She was a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design.
She had worked as a waitress at the former Caravan Restaurant in Franklin and the Radisson Hotel in Milford.
She loved to draw, ride her bike, walk, cook and garden.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her sisters, Lauren O’Connell of Kerhonkson, Long Island New York and Susan O’Connell of Ravenshoe, Queensland Australia.She was the sister of the late Daniel Thomas O'Connell Jr.
Her funeral will be held on Monday, August 25 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St. in Franklin at 8:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church at 9:00 a.m.
Calling hours will be on Sunday from 4-8 p.m.
Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
