Kelly Lee Nolan, 37, of Groton, passed away on Tuesday, August 19th. She was born on September 17, 1970 in New London. She is the daughter of Dennis J. Nolan Sr. of Groton and the late Ruth M. “Molly” Nolan.
Kelly was a graduate of Fitch Sr. High School. She was employed at Sea Horse Restaurant in Noank for over 15 years. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
She is survived by her father, Dennis J. Nolan Sr. of Groton; her daughter, Shawna Nolan of Ledyard; son Tyler Ringling of Westerly; five siblings, Denise Kapolowicz of Groton, Timothy Nolan of N. Providence, RI; Robert Nolan of Groton, Tracey Massey of Mystic, and Dennis J. Nolan Jr. of Groton, nieces, nephews, and a great-niece.
In memory of Kelly, there will be an informal gathering of family and friends at Esker Point Beach, Groton Long Point, on Sunday morning, August 24, at 9:00am.
Memorial services for Kelly will be held from 6:30 to 7pm on Friday, August 29, at Christ United Methodist Church, 200 Hazelnut Hill Road, Groton.
