Obituary

Christopher “Krys” Ferreira passed away unexpectedly on August 3rd in Tulsa, OK at the age of 37. He had lived in Kingston where he attended school and in Plymouth prior to moving to Tulsa. He is survived by his parents Gerald of Centerville and Patricia (Books) of Plymouth; his brothers and sisters Vici Wilson of Tucson, AZ; Jonathan of Quarryville, PA; Jeffrey of Brockton, Starr Ferreira – Cribbs of Plymouth, Jennifer Miller of Plympton and Michael of Quincy and a daughter Ashleigh Bartlett. He was the grandson of the late Harry and Evelyn Books of Kingston, the late John and Lena Ferreira of Cohasset, and the uncle of four nieces and eight nephews. Krys, also known as “K”, graduated from Middleboro High School and was a talented artist and musician. During his time in Tulsa, he worked for a private company collecting signatures for local government ballot referendums and played guitar professionally. He was proud that one of his many designs was being used for a CD cover of a current release by a fellow musician. Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St. (Rt. 3A), N. Plymouth on Thursday, August 21st from 7 to 9 PM. A fireside memorial will be held on Friday, August 22nd at dusk at 345 Carver Rd, Plymouth. A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 23rd at the First Congregational Church in Plympton at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Krys Ferreira Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Citizens Bank, 20 North Park Ave, Plymouth, MA 02360.
