Sandy Hughes Jarrell, 44, of Summerville, wife of Jack Jarrell, died Monday morning, August 18, 2008 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at 4 o’clock at Crossroads Community Church, Summerville. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville.
Friends may call at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, Summerville from 7 until 9 o’clock this evening.

Sandy was born January 8, 1964 in Spartanburg, daughter of Joe P. and Brenda M. Hughes of Enoree, South Carolina. She was a graduate of Woodruff High School and Lander College. She received her BS in Medical Records Administration at the Medical University of South Carolina and received her Masters in Secondary Education at the College of Charleston. She was a middle school teacher with Summerville Catholic School and a member of Crossroads Community Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband and parents are 1 son: Jace Hughes Jarrell of Summerville.
She was predeceased by her grandparents: Albert and Betty Hughes of Enoree and William and Sara Darnell of Woodruff.
