Obituary

Edna S. Kfoury, 94, of Manchester, NH, died August 14, 2008 at the Elliot Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born in Pawtucket, RI, on February 28, 1914, the daughter of Albert and Saleemi Samia. She was educated in the Lawrence, MA, public school system. She had lived in the Manchester area for the past 60 years.
Prior to retirement, she had worked as a hostess at the Merrimack Restaurant as well as the Vault Restaurant.
She was a very active and vibrant woman who enjoyed singing and dancing and always lived life to its fullest. She was a volunteer at the Elliot Hospital for over 40 years and a founding member of Our Lady of the Cedars Church in Manchester.
She was predeceased by her husband Ned J. Kfoury many years ago.
Above all else, she loved being a grandmother and great-grandmother.
Members of her family include her daughter, Barbara N. Palazzolo of Hampton; one son, Atty. Paul R. Kfoury Sr. and his wife Sandra S. of Bedford; her daughter, Marianne Guimond and her husband Bertrand G. of Manchester; eight grandchildren, Fred M. Palazzolo of Hampton, Barbara A. Keohane of Hampton, Atty. Paul R. Kfoury Jr. of Bedford, Elizabeth A. McGovern of Bedford, Jonathan N. Kfoury of Marblehead, MA, Kimberly G. Dellarocca of Alexandria, VA, Christopher N. Guimond of San Diego, CA, and David B. Guimond of New York City; eight great-grandchildren; several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
The funeral service was held Tuesday, August 19, 2008 in Our Lady of the Cedars Church, corner of Mitchell St. and Calef Rd., Manchester. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St., Bedford.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Our Lady of the Cedars Church, 140 Mitchell St, Manchester, NH, 03103.
