Methuen, MA. – Mildred M. Findeisen, 89, passed peacefully on Friday August 8, 2008 at her home surrounded by her family and friends.
A lifelong Methuen resident, Mildred was born the daughter of Hugo P. and Maud C. (Ridings) Findeisen. She was a graduate of Howard Seminary of West Bridgewater, and Burdette College in Boston.
Ms. Findeisen worked with her family at Findeisen Farms in Methuen prior to becoming the proprietor of the Plantation Bar and Grille in Methuen in 1964. From adolescence she was an avid equestrian and lover of all animals.
Survivors include nieces and nephews; Dorothy and husband Bruce Dearden of Methuen, Marsha and husband James Wicker of Pittsburgh, PA., Susanjane Brewster and husband David Albert of Methuen, Paula and husband William Willett of Simi Valley CA., and Hugo P. Findeisen, II, of Sandown, NH, and several grandnieces and grandnephews, as well many close friends. Mildred was predeceased by sisters Dorothy McGuire and Helen Brewster, and a brother Paul H. Findeisen.
ARRANGMENTS: A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday morning at 9AM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen with burial to follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
